Our communications co-lead Priscila Bellini talked about decolonizing the internet in the panel “How can feminist development policy support women’s organizations and activists in the digital sphere?”, under the umbrella of “Feminist Development Policy Goes Digital.” The event was held in New York City, leading up to the annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women, and organized by the National Council of German Women’s Organizations and the German Mission to the United Nations. The speakers included Mabel Bianco (Women’s Major Group), Nandini Chami (IT for Change), Dr. Hnin Shwe Zin Hlaing, (Gen Myanmar), and Sara Olsvig (Inuit Circumpolar Council, International Working Group on Indigenous Affairs).

The session was not recorded, but captured via social media posts.
