On 9 February 2023, Whose Knowledge? co-founder and co-director, Anasuya Sengupta received her honorary PhD from the University of London. University and College Union, a United Kingdom trade union who represent lecturers, academics and other workers, were on strike at the same time as the graduation ceremony took place. Anasuya’s speech brought the feminist politics of care and courage to the center of the discussion, and focused on the workers struggles.
