Cassie Denbow is a Resources and Reparations Co-Lead at Whose Knowledge? from the US Midwest, living in Southwest India. For nearly a decade, she has worked on resource mobilization with Global Majority feminist groups, building relationships and mapping the structures that enable/constrain resource movement. Cassie’s interest in political economy intertwines with her curiosities on historical narrative and public imagination. She weaves these inquiries together in diverse ways including as a founding member of a public art collective, through community reparations organizing, and tracing the cartographies of modern food systems. With a group of friends, she is co-creating a Diary of Ruptures, an exploration of organizational fissures and the possibilities they create. She is a resourcing advisor for the Queer Muslim Project and a Resource Manager for Women Now for Development. She can often be found in the kitchen – cooking, eating, and feeding the creatures she loves.
