In this video, Mariana Fossatti, #VisibleWikiWomen coordinator at Whose Knowledge?, together with her colleagues from Wikimedia Argentina and Wikimedia Uruguay, shows us how to organize an edit-a-thon. In that spirit, she shares many useful resources, and demonstrates how to illustrate Wikipedia articles with photos from Wikimedia Commons.
In addition, Mariana presents #VisibleWikiWomen, a campaign that seeks to close the gender gap in Wikimedia Commons by increasing the number of images of women that exist in the repository today.
